Credits: I came across the recipe for the Green monster drink from Dr. Oz's show- this included five ingredients- carrot, cucumber, apple, kale, yogurt and ice. I modified the smoothie to be a drink and dropped kale out of the recipe. Kale is though a green rich in antioxidants and so would be wonderful to use in this drink.
Ingredients:
Carrot- 1
cucumber - 1 small
Apple- 1
water melon- 1 cup
Ice
1tbspn sugar(optional)
Procedure:
Chop carrots,peeled apple and cucumber into pieces and grind all of them together with ice.
You have a wonderful refreshing cool drink for the summer. The carrots and water melon add sweetness to the drink, so there is no need to add sugar. However, if you like your drinks very sweet , you can add a tbspn of sugar.
