Quiz created: 100802

Speed Velocity and Acceleration

Instructions:
Answer the multiple choice questions, guessing if necessary;
then click on the "Process Questions" button at the end of the quiz
to see your score in the adjacent message box. The program will
not reveal which questions you got wrong, only how
many points you have. Go back and change your answers until you get them all
right. (The message box will rejoice at that point and the page will change color
in delight.)

Points to note:
(1) Questions with only one possible answer are one point each.
(2) Questions with one or more possible answers (represented by check boxes)
give a point for each correct answer, but also subtract a point for each wrong answer!
(3) The program will not attempt to score your efforts at all if you have not tried at least half of the questions.
(4) This quiz is for your own use only.
No record of your progress is kept or reported to anyone.

Cold Veggie Splash

Cold Veggie Splash

Credits:
I came across the recipe for the Green monster drink from Dr. Oz's show- this included five ingredients- carrot, cucumber, apple, kale, yogurt and ice. I modified the smoothie to be a drink and dropped kale out of the recipe. Kale is though a green rich in antioxidants and so would be wonderful to use in this drink.
Ingredients:
Carrot- 1
cucumber - 1 small
Apple- 1
water melon- 1 cup
Ice
1tbspn sugar(optional)

Procedure:
Chop carrots, peeled apple and cucumber into pieces and grind all of them together with ice.
You have a wonderful refreshing cool drink for the summer. The carrots and water melon add sweetness to the drink, so there is no need to add sugar. However, if you like your drinks very sweet , you can add a tbspn of sugar.

Welcome

Welcome to my food blog with recipies that are the best from borrowed. My idea in creating this blog is to recreate all those excellent food of different varieties that I have had at friends, relatives and at random places. There is a long list of such foods that I still remember with longing even though some of them are not even my favorites. Granted , there might be some emotions involved in making them unforgettable, I can promise you it was something unique about the way it was cooked and presented that I still remember it. For one, I still remember the upma ( what's more common and boring than this dish ?) that my aunt made for dinner one sunday night and I remember the flavor of coconut and the feathery texture of the upma with the generous seasoning of chenna dal that gave it its unique flavor. So, I am looking forward to taking a trip down memory lane and asking for recipes and will bring them to you from my kitchen to yours. I will also try and bring dishes that combine different styles of cooking and different flavors borrowed m=from my friends from other parts of India.
I am also constantly thinking about substituting and recreating some of those non vegatarian dishes and giving them a vegetarian twist and I will share a few of those with you as well
Ofcourse, everything depends on my continued interest in keeping up with the blog, for I am a little concerned as this is my first attempt with blogging.
My hope is that the sights and smells of curry will keep me going ....
